Content of the Module:

SMT Toolkit - Module Title: Why do I need a learning platform?
To develop a vision for personalised online learning within my school.

If I complete this CPD Toolkit: What’s in it for me?
Personalising learning is at the heart of achievement for all learners and is a key aspect of the e-strategy published in 2005 by the DFES. There are many benefits to implementing personalised online learning using a learning platform. However, ownership and installation of the system alone will not automatically provide the benefits; this toolkit will give you guidance on how to formulate a vision for your school .

Audience:
The head teacher and at least one SMT colleague within the school.

Learning route
Participants can access the modules separately dependent upon prior knowledge. The linear approach is the suggested route through the modules.

Prerequisites for this module:
School Development plan.
