Digital Teachers; Digital Mindset

Using technology does not make a teacher a digital teacher. It is also necessary for teachers to have a digital mindset.

Having digital mindset means automatically using the affordances of digital whenever this helps learning; instant connectivity to people and information, digital tools, multimedia literacy, a hyper-linked view of knowledge not a hierarchical view, collaboration and sharing as a prime strategy, a growth mindset and the desire to help others develop a growth mindset.

Often quite small changes in language talking to students and in teaching approach show that a teacher has a digital mindset.
